Welcome to our McKenzie Lake home,

After more than 20 wonderful years here, this home has become so much more than just a place to live—it has truly been the heart of our family’s life. We raised our family here, and so many of our favourite memories are tied to the everyday moments: quiet mornings, busy school-day routines, and evenings spent with neighbours., friends and family.

One of the things we’ve always loved most about this location is how close we are to the ridge and the incredible pathways that connect along the Bow River Pathways. Many days were spent enjoying peaceful walks, taking in the beautiful views, and appreciating the natural surroundings that make this community so special.

When the trees are in full bloom and the backyard feels extra private, it’s been our favourite place to relax, host family, and enjoy the outdoors. And just down the street, the playground became a big part of our kids’ happiest days—running over to play and coming home tired and smiling.

Leaving this home is not an easy decision. As we prioritize focusing on our family’s health, we’ve decided it’s time for us to simplify and downsize. While we know this is the right next step for our family, saying goodbye to a home and community we’ve loved for so long is bittersweet.

Our hope is that the next owners will enjoy this home and neighbourhood as much as we have. It’s a place where core memories are made—whether it’s relaxing after a long day, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying the beauty and peace of the area.
