This home will always hold a very special place in my heart. It’s the first home I ever purchased, and one of the proudest accomplishments of my life. Buying it on my own was a meaningful milestone, a time that represented independence, hard work, and the start of my real estate journey.

My original goal has always been for this property to be a stepping stone, my first step into homeownership, and eventually my first investment property. When life led me to British Columbia, I was grateful to be able to keep this home and find a wonderful tenant. It has been incredibly rewarding to know that this property not only held sentimental value for me, but also performed well as an investment, cash flowing positively each month.

One of the things I have appreciated most about this home is the people connected to it. The neighbours, property manager, and surrounding community have been exceptionally kind, helpful, and always willing to look out for one another. That gave me so much peace of mind, especially during the times I was not physically present.

Now, I am preparing to enter another exciting stage of life and ready to take the next step — purchasing a new home with my partner. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, I feel proud that this home has done exactly what I hoped it would do. It gave me a place to start, a sense of security, and the opportunity to grow.
